AwkChannelWiki: Editing suppression of interpolation within a regular expression

The [[backslash]] symbol is be used to prevent [[interpolation]] of [[metacharacter]]s within the program. By prefixing the special character with a backslash metacharacter, we prevent [[interpolation]] from taking place. == Examples ==
